If you make a quick wiki search, you will know that mural art is specify as art that is painted directly on any wall, ceiling or permanent surfaces. One of the most unique aspect of murals is that the physical architecture of the surface is incorporated into the artwork.
Mural also serve as a great backdrop and can enhance a building facade, feature walls or back alley. If you take a stroll along Petaling Street, Chinatown, Kuala Lumpur or Arab Street in Singapore, you will discover all the cool murals and street art that are colourful and mesmerising.
A recent project that we did for Accenture is one of the project that truly challenge us to push our creativity. It was a project that was just based on an idea. It was developed together with the project owner, interior designer, management and the Artisan team.
This mural art piece is special because, it has four different element, it includes digital design print on stickers, 3D effect using compound cement, neon light and of course, the Mural.
Mural is not limited to just outdoor spaces, it can also be done in any interior space with no limits to creativity - the only barriers are the physical dimensions of the surface.
Take below as an example, we create a homely space which is expressive and yet soothing to the eyes. The colours are more pastel and muted for the living and dining area so it will not be too overwhelming.
