I used to hate networking, going to an event and have new conversations with a complete stranger feels like a chore.
The Empire Entrepreneur's Club were built based on networking platforms/events. We are a small group, but I am proud to say that businesses were ventured, partnership were formed and we get new clients through this network.
Just a few days ago, i closed a retainer deal with a client and got paid agency fees for a digital design work under ArtisanDigitalArt, it was a new born business based on this network.
It's no wonder that even a simple hello, can lead to a million things. Like the saying goes, "The richest people in the world look for and build networks. Everyone else looks for work".
And now, I am super excited because every successful entrepreneur whom i want to interview is just about 1 or two tiers away. And it was based on the network that were built a year ago. You never know how the people you meet can have a huge impact in your life.
Interesting read from Malcolm Gladwell book, ' The Tipping Point' on 'The Law Of The Few'
