EURO TRIP PART #6: MONT BLANC
So here is the start of our road trip! Oh yes, the long anticipated trip! It snowed and rain the whole day, so we decide to stay in and cook.
There was a little snow near the mountains. The weather were so gloomy, but that cheered me up a little.
With two chef (ahem) in the house, we decide to stay in and cook! Me and my Matthias bonding moment is always during cooking!
The next day, is officially the best day ever in my life!
Can you imagine that all these pictures below were taken on the same day? The weather were so gloomy the day before and we had to mentally prepare for the worst weather in days to come.
And to our surprise, It was sunny with the heat on our face yet it's super cold when the wind blows, with snow on our feet! In the morning, we took a tram from Chamonix to the peak of the mountains where we stood in between Italy and France, with Switzerland within the view. It is the most breathtaking and magnificient view i've ever seen in my life!

We had our late lunch in the cafes there above the snow mountains, and for some reason, we had to rush somewhere nobody told us anything about.
I felt asleep in the car and about 1 hour later, Matt said, "Wake up, take some coffee, wash your face, you need some energy!"
The moment we arrived, we have to change car and that's when we realized that we are going for Tandem flight! It's for our wedding gifts! Oh, thank you so much Siham and Mathias!
As i was preparing for flight, I saw Mus ran and fly with his guide so smoothly and i thought, ok, here we go.
I've never really experienced walking in the snow, let alone having to run with snow way above my ankle pulling a big build guy with his parachute, so i ran and i ran and i pull as much as i can....
And i fell face first in the snow about 300 m away from our take off! It also create a little avalanche. The guide said its his first time that he had such a fall in his 23 years of experience!
We had to walk back up where we took off and i must say 300m uphill with above ankle high level snow is a challenge. I even ate some snow to dehydrate. So drama! What an amazing experience.
This beautiful landscape is where we land. Safe and sound where both hubby and Siham waiting for me patiently and worried in way because they heard that i fell. lol. Little did they know they drama i just experienced. Thank you so much Siham and Matthias for the best gift ever!
